Went to the game with my dad and Ryan. Could not pass up the opportunity to see one of the final games at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium as the P-Nats move to Fredericksburg next season. It was not a great stadium and the new one should be much better. Not a bad seat in the house though for this pitching duel. Teel was great for the Nats, completing 7 innings and holding the Dash to 3 hits. Ryan Zimmerman was rehabbing and started at first base- he collected one hit and committed an error on a grounder. His replacement later in the game, KJ Harrison, broke the tie in the 8th while reaching on a FC. Stiever pitched well for the Dash, completing 6 scoreless innings, and Bartow got the save for the P-Nats.
Victor Robles Bobblehead night. Got to get Zimmerman’s auto. He played first base and did decent in the field and got a hit (had an error and a K tho). KJ Harrison broke the tie in the bottom of the 8th. The P-Nats pitched well, only giving up three hits.
Drove up with Dad and Greg. Team is moving to become the Fredericksburg Nationals next year, so this was one of their final games in this park. Saw Ryan Zimmerman on a rehab assignment.
Ryan Zimmerman was on a rehab assignment. Got to get his autograph. He walked with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th and the bases loaded to tie up the game at 4-4. Then the P-Nats gave up 5 in the top of the 10th :/ Fun night overall though.
