Bark in the Park was the highlight. An error by Rio Ruiz at 1B to the first batter of the game started a 3 run 1st inning. For the Mud Hens, Jim Adduci was 2 for 5 with a solo HR and Edwin Espinal had a 2 for 4 night. Tyler Alexander started and got the win for Toledo, allowing 2 ER in 5.0 IP. Luis Gohara was bad again, giving up 2 ER in 3.1 IP, though he did have 7 K's.
Gwinnett was out of this one early, giving up 4 runs in the first 3 frames and looking uninspired and lazy in the process. Mikie Mahtook was 2 for 5 with a 2B and a HR and 2 rbi's while ex-Brave Kade Scivique went 2 for 5 with a solo HR. Harold Castro was 2 for 3 with an rbi. On the mound, Toledo starter Artie Lewicki went 5.0 innings, giving up just 1 run. Max Fried didn't have it for Gwinnett, giving up 4 ER in 6.0 innings. Evan Phillips was the bright spot, pitching the 9th, striking out 2.
Another win for the home team. Rowdy Tellez was the only highlight for the Bisons, going 2 for 3 with a 2B, a HR and an rbi.
