First MLS game in person

Beckham’s first game in MLS. My first DCU game. Mom took me. She bought us tickets in June, as soon as we knew Beckham was coming to MLS. We loved DC teams, but also had a connection to Beckham from our time living in London, so this game was special for us. Luciano Emilio scored for the Black and Red from outside the box in the 27th minute. LA went a man down on a red card in the 67th minute. Beckham was subbed on In the 72nd minute but United held on for the win.

Section GA Game was on the 9th

Inter Miami has multiple players of whom I’ve heard. So it’s safe to assume a 4-0 loss.

DC cough up a goal in stoppage time to lose the Leap Day season opener :(
